LivBetter™

LivBetter services can be tailored to meet the needs of people – "where they are.” The belief is that the right action or intervention can help to increase knowledge, skills and confidence and so, improve the ability to look after one’s own wellbeing.

Each of the four LivBetter Spice categories provides a personal perspective that correlate to progressively healthy behaviors, which lead to better health outcomes, experiences of care, and fewer episodes of unplanned and emergency care.

LivBetter™

“START WHERE YOU ARE,

USE WHAT YOU HAVE,

DO WHAT YOU CAN”

- ARTHUR ASHE

The National Minority Health Association (NMHA) has adopted the LivWorx™ LivBetter™ program for health improvement. LivBetter™ licenses the Patient Activation Measure® (PAM®) technology from Insignia Health.

PAM® represents a 4-level classification of a person’s ability to manage their own health and healthcare. Advancement over time from one level to the next reflects improvement in self-management capability. Numerous peer-reviewed research studies have established that tailoring health resources, interventions and treatments according to PAM® level can help to increase patient activation, resulting in lower costs of care and improved quality of life.

The NMHA LivBetter™ program utilizes its own 4-tier system based on the PAM® reference model. We identify these tiers as Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. The LivBetter™ program identifies the current level of each program participant and works to help advance that individual to the next level.

ABOUT US

Health professionals don't just treat patients. They support individuals with different self-management abilities. Activating individuals where they are is critical for success

LivWorx develops, designs, deploys and manages programs to support of the mission of reducing the healthcare gap in underserved and minority communities.

Clearly there is a disparity in health between ethnic groups in America and around the world. LivWorx was formed to create the tools necessary to build a better bridge to health. That bridge has to be easily accessible, simple to understand and cost effective.

LivWorx is a minority owned company, founded by a team grounded in healthcare marketing, Telehealth, home health, home care, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), population health monitoring, remote patient engagement and innovative technology/process development.

Our solutions are based on a simple premise: If you help people “where they are,” they will become better managers of their health and achieve better outcomes.
